Born in California, Nancy now makes her home in the Sierra Nevada Foothills.  Natural surroundings and the ever changing seasons make possible an atmosphere where creativity thrives. Spring and summer garden flowers are ready models, while fall colors and the forest in winter give promise of an abundance of subjects to paint. " Translating onto paper the image of a delicate flower, the richness of its colors and the way it seems to rejoice in being alive, is a constant challenge. For me there is a joy in painting subjects found in nature. Capturing the reflection of what the Creator has set before us brings me joy."
